Adam D. Raines: President, an experienced External Search and Corporate Staffing Manager, Adam spent 16 years honing his skills before founding Raines Interactive. This included nine years in the Retained Executive Search field, where he worked on Senior level assignments for primarily Fortune 100 clients, private equity firms and some entrepreneurial ventures. This was followed by two years in Healthcare with Pfizer, Inc., and four years in the Healthcare Advertising space with Saatchi and Saatchi Health, where he built the Internal Recruiting function from inception, and at Saatchi and Saatchi Health’s parent, Publicis Healthcare Communications Group. A graduate of the Barney Business School, University of Hartford, Adam spent a short time in a Sales capacity before realizing his calling in the Recruiting business, which had been in his family since his birth. It is not an overstatement to say “it was in his blood.” Adam is the consummate recruiting professional, having worked in the Temporary Staffing business prior to his Executive Search and Corporate Recruiting experiences. Over all of these tenures, he has learned the importance of building strong client and candidate relationships, delivering on client expectations, and maintaining a reputation for accomplishment, honesty and integrity. It is important to note that Adam planned his career carefully to ensure his success as an entrepreneur, by specifically targeting the corporate recruiting function after his ten plus years as an external recruiter. He wanted to experience the “Client Side” for several years so he would then have a “360 degree view” of all facets of the recruiting process. Adam feels this is his, and his firm’s, greatest advantage in successfully recruiting for the corporate world. He understands the processes from both perspectives, has the patience to work through “starts and stops” and understands the inner workings of the client from his own personal experiences. He can “feel the pain” of his clients, navigate the land mines of the search process, keep both sides working toward a common objective, and deliver on the goals of the search. Adam was born in New York City and currently lives in Ridgewood, NJ with his wife and son. When he is not working or spending time with his family, he can be found tending to his other passion; Aviation. Adam is a licensed Private Pilot, Single Engine Land.
